About me
Molly Blackmon, with Avanti Destinations has spent the last 35 years helping travel agents sell travel! She started with bus tours right out of college then made the jump to a wholesale tour operator, TransGlobal Vacations as they made their way into Texas. Funjet Vacations came calling and Molly spent the next 20 years selling destinations all over the Caribbean and Mexico. During that time, she also handled Southwest Vacations, US Airways Vacations, United Vacations and many other vacation companies that were part of the Mark Travel multiline group. For the last 7 ½ years Molly has expanded her horizons to include the world with Avanti Destinations. Through all the different companies and all the product, Molly’s main focus has always been the travel agent. “For me, the relationships I form with my agents are key and the part of the business that has kept me hook all these years”, says Molly.
